Aoife is a 29 year old nurse who decided to publicly share her positive HIV status in 2023 to reduce stigma and empower women. 

In the last 2 years, Aoife has appeared on all forms of media and was a part of the You, me and HIV campaign with the HSE, to address misconceptions around HIV. 

Aoife is now a leading voice for women living with HIV in Ireland.

She will share her experience of living with HIV and her insight of the stigma existing in healthcare settings and in everyday life.
