What is the WellFest HYROX SIM?
We are so excited to launch the WellFest HYROX Sim in partnership with FLYEfit - a brand-new race experience as part of our 10-year anniversary celebrations.
Inspired by the global fitness race format of HYROX, the WellFest HYROX Sim brings the famous 8 workout stations and 1km runs into the iconic setting of WellFest.
Taking place across Saturday May 9th and Sunday May 10th, the event is designed to be competitive, fun and inclusive, welcoming everyone from experienced HYROX athletes to everyday gym-goers who want to try something new.
What race format will be used?
The WellFest HYROX Sim in partnership with FLYEfit will follow the classic HYROX race structure:
8 x Workout Stations
8 x 1km Runs
The workouts will closely mirror the standard HYROX format, including official chip timing, which will give you a real feel for race pacing and strategy.
What race categories are available?
The WellFest HYROX Sim in partnership with FLYEfit will be Doubles only, meaning you compete with a friend for double the fun!
Teams can be:
Male Doubles
Female Doubles
Mixed Doubles
You and your partner can split the workout stations however you like, but both athletes must complete the runs together.
Will the race be chip timed?
Yes.
Each participant will wear an individual timing chip, meaning:
Your total team finish time will be recorded
Each athlete will also receive their personal splits and performance data
This makes the HYROX Sim in partnership with FLYEfit a great training benchmark for future HYROX races!
Is this an official HYROX race?
This is a HYROX-style simulation event, delivered in partnership with FLYEfit, an official accredited HYROX partner gym.
While it is not part of the official global HYROX race series, the format closely follows the standard race structure, making it an exciting competitive experience for athletes whether you are prepping for your next pro event, or thinking about pushing yourself to try your very first fitness race!
What workout stations will be included?
The race will include the standard HYROX stations, such as:
SkiErg
Sled Push
