WELLFEST 2025 RECAP

WellFesters, what a weekend! On 10th and 11th May 2025, Dublin’s IMMA at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham came alive with our biggest and most powerful programme of events to date, bringing together hundreds of fitness trainers, wellness experts, and health professionals for two unforgettable days of wellness, inspiration, and community.

This year, we were thrilled to welcome some of the world’s most exciting and influential wellness voices. From DB DONAMATRIX, personal trainer to the Kardashians, to mental health activist Get Better with Chris, bestselling author and nutritionist Em the Nutritionist, holistic sex educator Jenny Keane, and Olympian athlete Nadia Power, our line-up was nothing short of spectacular.

Introducing WellFest’s First Ever Run Club!

One of the highlights of 2025 was WellFest’s debut Run Club, designed to inspire runners of all levels to build endurance, confidence, and community. Led by Irish 800m Olympian Nadia Power, the run club brought festival-goers together to move, sweat, and connect - proving that wellness is about more than just fitness; it’s about shared experiences and motivation.

Highlights Across Movement, Mindfulness, and More

Our 2025 festival offered over 150 experts across 15 areas, with classes and sessions including:

  • WellSpin with Kevin Twomey, co-host of I’m Grand Mam, delivering electrifying indoor cycling classes with Pure Ride.

  • Yoga, Pilates, strength, and dance classes led by top trainers including body-positive fitness coach Tally Rye, Nike-trained yoga expert Dr Rebekah Jade, POUND, and Zumba with Hermann Melo.

  • WellFood demos from Em the Nutritionist alongside TV Chef Erica Drum, dumpling guru Janet Liu, and plant-powered chef Conor Spacey.

And for our youngest festival-goers, WellKids returned with a weekend packed full of yoga, dance, and fun activities - making it a weekend for the whole family.

Wellness Beyond Movement

At WellFest, we’ve always believed that wellness goes beyond the body, and 2025 was no exception. Thought-provoking discussions and open conversations were a core part of the festival, covering topics such as sexual wellbeing, addiction and recovery, and mental health.

  • Millie Gooch, founder of Sober Girl Society, inspired audiences with honest conversations on sobriety, addiction, and mental health.

  • Dr Brian Pennie, former heroin addict turned doctor, shared his incredible journey of resilience and second chances.

  • Dr Karan Rajan, general surgeon and one of the world’s biggest health and science social creators, delivered refreshing myth-busting insights into health and medicine.

A Weekend to Remember

WellFest 2025 was a celebration of movement, mindfulness, food, fun, and meaningful connection. From main stage workouts and high-energy classes to inspiring talks and the very first WellFest Run Club, festival-goers left feeling motivated, empowered, and part of a thriving wellness community.

Here’s to another year of connection, inspiration, and living well - we can’t wait to see you all back for WellFest 2026!
