WELLFEST IS COMING TO BELFAST IN 2026
Big News: WellFest is Coming to Belfast for the First Time Ever!
WellFesters, we have a major announcement - WellFest is heading to Belfast for the very first time in 2026! After ten incredible years in Dublin, we’re beyond excited to bring our unique mix of fitness, wellness, and feel-good festival vibes across the border to Ormeau Park on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th September 2026.
Co-founder Anthony Kelly shared his excitement about this milestone:
“Together, WellFest’s two-city festivals shape a unique summer experience, with Dublin kicking things off in May and Belfast closing the season on a high in September. We’re thrilled to have announced the first wave of our Dublin line-up, including Maeve Madden, Kellie Harrington, Blindboy, and Spencer Matthews, with many more headline names and homegrown favourites to be revealed in the lead-up to our 10th anniversary weekend. The energy and anticipation around this milestone year is already building, and Dublin promises to deliver our biggest and most exciting line-up yet.”
Anthony added:
“Ten years ago, we set out to create a festival that celebrated fitness and wellness in all its forms, an inclusive event where friends, families, fitness enthusiasts, and first-time festival-goers alike could come together and connect through movement and conversation. Next summer’s 10-year celebrations and Dublin line-up, alongside our expansion to Belfast, reflect the incredible growth of the wellness movement across the island of Ireland. We’re proud to keep evolving, expanding, and inspiring, with more announcements and surprises still to come.”
From humble beginnings with just 1,500 attendees in 2015, WellFest Dublin has grown into a weekend-long celebration attracting over 12,000 festival-goers each year. And now, in 2026, Belfast will get to experience the full WellFest magic - a weekend of fitness classes, wellness talks, cooking demos, and family-friendly activities, led by international and homegrown wellness heroes.
Maeve Madden, who headlines both Dublin and Belfast next year, will be joined by a powerhouse of new and returning talent. While the first wave of acts for Belfast will be announced later this month, we promise an extraordinary mix of movement, mindfulness, and inspiration that will make the festival’s Belfast debut one to remember.
